I'm in Oakville, here is a better picture of the car. The picture of the engine bay is an early one, I have since relocated the BOV and installed Devils Own Water Injection. I still have a few bugs to iron out, most are related to getting the correct fuel map. My most interesting mod was the use of a 951 Bell Housing, PP, Flywheel with 930 Clutch Plate with the N/As DME. Due to the two extra flywheel teeth you get a 1.5 percent timing variance, so far I haven't seen any seen any issues.

I would suggest in the least if you are going to just slap on a turbo; to get a set of used Turbo 951 pistons and swap them out... And maybe get some larger fuel injectors just as a start... An FMU might help alot too... When you start to get deeper into the modding split second sells a timing device to piggy back an extra set of injectors into the mix...

One is running from the ISV to the FPR and fuel dampener, another to the brake booster, and I think to the blow off valve and to the intake pipe as well.

These are from a Canadian company called Fluidline, they sell all types of hydraulic lines including this hose, I also got them to make my fuel lines. They are a really friendly establishment, I've used them to make fuel/Vacuum lines for both of my cars.

FWIW, I've had my n/a tranmission for over 15k miles now (over 18 months) and I'm pushing 300rwhp/325ft-lbs. The transmission has recently started to make some noise (2nd and 5th gear synchros) and will need to be replaced. The car has been driven responsibly. With that said, the n/a transmission will hold up, but it's only tempory solution. Get yourself a good 951 transmission.

Adding a turbo to a 944 is not impossible, but is rarely easy. 95% of the time it is far better to run off and buy a proper 944 Turbo.

When porsche made the 944 turbo they did not just put a turbo on it. They re-engineered the car. As such no bolt on turbo can match the 944 Turbo in terms for performance or intergraion. callaway in the early 80's made a turbo for the early 944, but they only make like 15-20 before Porsche made the factor 944 Turbo. That under cut the market for aftermarked turbos for these cars.

Now the best way to turbo and NA is to do a part swap. This means swap over all th needed parts from a 944 Turbo to a 944 NA. It is a long yet straight forward process since little needs to be "engineered".

In the end however it most of th time far cheper to just buy a factory turbo car.

As for the super chargers. They work, but they tend to be expensive and cause normal driving limitations like needing to remove the A/C and result in performance no better and in most cases wose than a 944 Turbo . Again from a pure cost level a 944 Turbo just makes more sense.

However these cars are not about making sense and more about emotion. So that is why you see Turbo's in NA tubs and supercharged 944's.
