No low end power
Just finished belts and waterpump. Car ran great for a while.
Had to replace the cap and rotor, due a bolt backing out, and destroying the rotor. Put it all back together, now I have no low end power. Accelerating from a light, the car cannot get out of it's own way. Gets a bit better as the car warms up, but the low end just isn't there.

Cam timing or firing order out of whack?

Firing order is good.
Will check the timing, but it was spot on, before I replaced the cap/rotor. (after the water pump and belts).

Does it sound like it's running rough?
If the timing is right, then I'd look at something blocking the intake tract.

I will. It is running a bit better. Drove it to work yesterday and today.
It just has problems first thing in the morning, but who doesn't?

I assume original. I have had the car for 12 years.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.
Check around for any disconnected or cracked vacuum lines, loose hose clamps on the intake boot, etc.
