Default OEM Porsche or Aftermkt Rod Bearings - which to buy?

For those that have replaced their rod bearings, for street or track car, which rod bearings did you buy - OEM Porsche or aftermarket (like Glyco)?

Or are they exacty same. Aftermkt is only $80/set while OEM Porsche is $40/each = $160/set.

Thanks.

Many on the 951 board told me the glycos are good so I went with those and they were fine.

Sorry for off topic.
If one should need oversize bearings where could he get them with best price?

For my 914, the aftermarket bearings were junk - tolerances and sizes all over the place.

Glyco is OE on a lot of stuff, not sure about Porsches. They would be fine, IMO

I have used these glycos on many 944 spec race motor builds over the last 6 years. No issues.

Hijack continued - I have a (virtually unused) Math degree - what's your excuse?
I've been number 22 in everything since I was about 9 years old and realized #21 would be retired by the time I made the Pirates (Pittsburgh used to have a major league baseball team). But 22 is popular and I was always having to add digits. Pi has been safe so far.
Cheers
Randy
