I've always loved the look of that decal...I've never seen it on a white turbo before but...now...
I have to have it...I NEED to have that decal...That is one of the sweetest looks mods you can do to a 951.
That is the black version of the decal correct? Not the silver one?
I am now accepting donations.

Putting it on a NA would be rice...but on a turbo..I disagree.
Anyways, where can these turbo decals be bought? Did they come standrad on turbo's from the factory or was it a Porsche option....or was it an aftermarket option??

Thanks for the comments guys.
Yes, it is the black decal(also available in silver). It was an option from the factory starting in 88 with the "S" cars--don't know if it was offered in 89 or not. They are available from the dealer, mine cost about 80-some bucks(with PCA discount). The part number was posted awhile back under "fender decal" I believe. I hope to get many more pics up from this weekend's PVGP. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I didn't know the Porsche factory was in the rice business?

My understanding was it was an 89 option, not yet available in 88.. But as with anything else, I could be wrong.
Eric, lookin good.

Danno,
I not a lawyer, but I think there would be trademark infringement if someone other than Porsche started making them. Porsche has really cracked down on people/companies using their product names. Check out all the disclaimers in Tweeks, MidAmerica, PerformanceProducts/Automotion.
Is there a trademark attorney out there?
It's definitely cool and not "rice" if you're putting it on a Turbo car. Anyone have one in silver on a black or graphite car. I could see it after doing some mods to smoke everything in sight!

I think the way the factory did it is if you have a black turbo badge on the back of the car...you get a black turbo sticker on the fender. White turbo badge on the back...silver turbo sticker on the fender.
Works for me

Let's not forget the huge "ClubSport" decal on the 968 CS cars... call it rice if you wish but that decal is awesome! If you want rice, put a "Powered by Porsche" decal on the rear window in 12" high letters.
