Hey guys. I have some wheels that I have been thinking about selling, I don't really know what they go for though. I am curious if it is worth the time to go out to where my parts cars are and gather them up, clean them and deal with shipping them. What do they typically go for in good condition? In fair condition? Thanks.

Early offset is usually worth more than late offset, but really either isn't worth much to the run-of-the-mill 944 owner.

Track guys like the cookies because I hear they are pretty light, but they still aren't going to pay a lot.

Volkswagen guys like these wheels so try selling them on VW Vortex.

I would say a true set is worth at least $70 but no more than $250-$300 even if they were pristine.

St. Louis craigslist currently has early offset phone dials for $30 each with (probably crappy) tires.

They are probably worth a decent amount in aluminum scrap so hold onto them until prices go back up. How much does a decent set of early offset fuchs usually go for?

I bought 3 phones for $10, getting faded but all straight. Early Fuchs are in Craigslist for $100 - 125 a set pretty regularly in average shape. Just going by calibrated arms, the phones weigh more than Fuchs -- I would not call them light.

recycling is DEFINITLY not worth it, I got 80 dollars recycling an ENTIRE 944 filled with scrap parts.

If you are wanting to get rid of them how much for a set + shipping to Colorado? I could always use spare parts I guess.

I'll have to look into shipping, and make sure I have what I think I do (2 complete phones and 1 complete cookies). I am just trying to scrounge up some extra cash that is outside my normal budget for a fairly unique item I ordered a while ago and thought it was forgotten about by the company. If I don't get back to the them in 10 days, they trash the order and I won't be able to get back in line as they are discontinuing this specific item.

The 944 spec guys will buy the cookies in quantity. I sold one guy 10 at $40 a wheel. Put them up for sale on http://www.944spec.org/944SPEC/ . Also, many of these guys are in SoCal.

Phone dials can be sold to the VW guys for about the same price.
