Not according to the parts manual...

http://dcauto.gotdns.com/model/index/3585454

nor did they come with 2 clocks, hence my refference to the analog clock...

Sad the digital clock apears to have a good LCD, but no power... probably why the 2nd clock got added..

The exhaust looks to have come from a 928.. but it is probably a custom or Off the shelf aftermarket piece from somewhere...

I'm not sure about the Turbo RS, but the 968 Turbo S had dual exhausts, but not quads. Ones like the car mentioned (and there are a few others) have been modified, to great or lesser visual success. I've never seen any dyno sheets showing any hp/tq improvement one way or another.

What do you mean about the clocks? 968's came with the clock in the cubby and the one in the upper trim piece is an external temp display.

I've also wondered this about the Honda S2K, what is the purpose of dual exhaust on a four cylinder? Are there two exhaust banks or this is purely cosmetic?

I think on a 968 it looks pretty good. I don't think it would work on a 944 S2/Turbo because the rear wing and the design of the tail lights makes it a little too busy IMO.

Talking

There is no end to this guy, since those pics were taken he did the following to the car---replace those exh tips by genuine 996 carrera tips, replace the steering wheel with a 993 one, also install 17" 993 wheels instead of the Boxster wheels he had on.Better sell that car pretty soon a( 4.8 Panemara V8) would be nice. But I got to agree with V2 Rocket nice job he did on those double, personnely I don't think you will gaine anything from them except add unwanted weigths, but I guess each have is own taste. The second clock John is reffering to migth be in that little cubby hole at the left of the clock ,look like something degital .

Learn something every day, IMHO it looks goofy... but that's just me.. I have seen the inside of more 996s and 997s than 968s.... but I guess that is true for a lot of people...

Good luck. I wanted to do the same thing, but it's getting harder finding the display. NLA from Porsche, so you'll need to find a good used one. When I was looking a year ago, they seemed more scarce than a working 944 clock. There's also the temperature probe, which is in the driver's side mirror. I believe they're already in the 968 mirrors, but you'll have to do some work if you still have the 944 mirrors. You'll have to run another wire to the door either way.

I wish there was dash trim available that didn't have an opening for the clock/temperature display. I've seen some of the aftermarket stick-on carbon fiber/wood kits not have the opening, but those look really bad IMO.

968s have no digital clock
the analog clock is cool but in a stupid location
quad exhaust on a 4-cyl is ghey
these are my opinions and I stand by them!
