There were many times I was racing guys where their could have been contact if it were not for the good driving of my competitors.
I think that pretty well describes it. Over the course of the weekend I went side-by-side through every turn on the track (at different times in different races), many times with people I had never raced before, and everyone gave plenty of room without just rolling over and gifting a position. I think that factor alone made it a really, really impressive event.

It all depends on their prep level. There is no 968 spec class anywhere so they run where ever they fit. This can be any of probably 4-5 classes.

They thought the disabled car at the start of the straight was the reason for the yellows, so once they were beyond the incident, passing would be legal again. What they didn't see was the double-yellow hanging from start/finish.

video feed is up on http://speedcastTV.com this is a replay of the live broadcast of the race. No membership is required to view. Look in the NASA area for 944-spec. Warning we were passing so much the announcer could not keep track of the names. Still shows the action from the front.

Damnit all to hell, the internet is so slow out here I can't really watch the video. Its more like blurry pictures that occasionally change, with commentary talking about things I can't see!

Don't worry the comentary was talking about stuff he could not see either. At least 1/2 the time he got the names wrong.
