My battery was dead and when I conected it up to another battery the cooler fan started and would not automatically switch off, even after some time.
Is it likely to be the cooler fan relay, which when I remove from the fuse box, the cooler fan turns off (obviously)? Or could it be something else?
Also, if it is the relay, any ideas where I could get a replacement? I live in Rhode Island and have tried my local Porsche garage and car spares shop without sucess.
Many Thanks
Rob

It can be your fan relay, but is more likely to be your thermo switch in the radiator. Check out this link at Clark's Garage for details of how to troubleshoot.
If it turns out to be the fan relay, they can be found at any of the online sites. Be prepared though. It is expensive.
