Best hour of TV ever, man I may like porsches and all, but there is just something about a ferrari that is just mystical. Everyone of those cars were just so beautiful, they way they sounded going through the rev's. Of of the cars the 312 BB soundled like it was time to shift and just kept going, it was a 3L F1 engine though....

I love that show - saw the Ferrari episode last night for the third or fourth time. Alain DeCaudenet just seems to be having so much fun, like a kid in a candy store. The cars are simply incredible - Mark Knopfler's, Ralph Lauren's, etc. That Daytona lightweight is simply perfect - no better car on the planet.

I saw the 333sp running at Mosport about 10 years ago, it sounds as good in real life. There was an Italian guy in his 50s driving it, can't recall his name. I stood behind it for a while while they were warming it up.

To think that guy gets paid for doing that show irks me.

yea, Alain DeCadenet does have the best job in the world. he was certainly taking it easy on those cars, though - did you see the tach? nowhere near the redline.

did you see his expression after finishing with the 312BB? he licked his lips and rubbed his hands with a big smile. that was classic.

i've got both sessions on tape.

The old guy driving the 333 sp at mosport was probably Gianpero Morretti,(sp.?) founder of Momo, I saw him driving the momo sponsored car at lime rock in '96

Does anyone know where Alain was driving the cars in the Ferrarri show? looks like a private road somewhere in europe or something. I wonder how many cars they couldn't get because the owners wouldn't let the show use them, I'd think twice even just for my 951, not that they would want it, but....

I wondered the same thing Dave did. Looks like a huge estate belonging to some British nobility. Damn the luck,,I was born a poor white boy.
