Default Engine Bay Cooling

I know this has been chewed over plenty. and the consensus seems to be:
1. Belly pans are designed to induce a low pressure area which sucks air out below the engine bay.
2. Hood scoops introduce chaotic air flow into the engine bay and disrupt the designed flow pattern through the radiator.
I assume this would also apply to hood vents designed to draw air from the engine bay.

My questions is whether the vented nose panel designed to improve air flow over the oil inter-cooler is going to produce the same negative results?

your oil cooler is nowhere near your IC...

hood vents seem to work very well at extracting heat from the engine bay. a vent on the top of the car will have better ventilation and airflow than the belly pans could ever accomplish

ok, correction noted - inter-cooler.
So you reckon the hood vents won't mess up the factory designed cooling?
any thought on the nose panel vent?

Everything creates drag. If you dont need the cooling - dont add it - you will cost yourself mpg on the highway, top speed, highspeed accel etc etc. This coming from a guy with a giant NACA duct off a 924 Carrera on his car...

Well we have summertime temps topping 40°C / 104°F, so they more cooling the better - at least we don't have to panic at the sight of a traffic jam like the air-cooled guys!
