i have a 1984 porsche 944 and im just wondering what i can do for subwoofer encloseure i would like to keep my rear seats do u guys out there have any good plans that u have used?

Another idea is to make an enclosure that will fit in with the spare. Limits you to one sub though.

Don't know if this will help you but I put 2 6 x 9's in the back of my 944. Cut 2 oval holes in the rear deck (the wooden part over the fender flares) and ran the speaker wires under the rocker covers along the passenger side, under the carpeting, behind the seats, and up through rear deck to both sides. I think it sounds great and doesn't take up any space at all.

get enough bass from the 6X9's? sounds like an alternative my slow self hadnt thought of

Plenty of bass for me, very descent Kickers in the back and 3" Kickers in the front. Both are component speakers (woofers and tweeters).
