mmm...some good votes here...to burma, i'm removing all of the old paint down to bare metal, repriming, and painting from scratch (trying to do it right (er) this time)
i considered orange for a long time, but i couldn't find enough pictures of orange 944's...it had the possibility to look absolutely menacing and sweet, but i decided to go with a more sleeper look, especially because of the rumble and the hood scoop. i don't want to attract to much attention (at least of the wrong kind..........)
does that narrow it down?
oh...by the way, if you want to drive out here if you get the question right, i will give you a cookie....

Black... and keeping the NA nose.
I envision a sleeper...
"Meh, just a black car. What's that, oh, it's a 944. Nice car, but no power. Not a turbo, you can tell by the nose. I'll show you how slow it is, let's mess with him..."

Isn't the shoebox hood modification going to ruin the sleeper vibe?

the shoebox on the hood is a semi permanent solution...i.e. i can't really take the box off of the hood, but i would eventually like to revert to a stock hood (that will take some creativity in making an intake, but i put a v8 in a 944 so i think i can handle it)
you really nailed on the head man!
