No need to duraglass, the seams are not that deep. Good possibility that body flex may cause cracking though.

..filled seams also make potential buyer ask himself if this car had major rear impact.

I agree keep it original with the seems as they were from the factory.

Like Cole said if you get rear ended it will not be a simple unbolt and replace the dented part if needed.

I actually think about taking a rotozip and putting the seam line back on the car. Then I would have to repaint the area, but if anything was to happen to the back of the car and I needed a repaint in that area I will do it for sure.

Default filled in seams

I filled in my rear body seams. That's a welded seam, so if you have flex there.....well, you have other problems, ya know ! I also filled in my front and rear fiberglass bumpers, as well as filled in front and rear side lights. It needs paint, but I like the smooth look. Contemplating removing the door handle and filling in as well. Would do remote power locks, but also leave a hidden cable operated latch release fro one of the doors in case of battery failure or power lock problem. Must just be me, but I like the smooth body look. Ya, ya, I know you can't remove/replace body parts separately, but hey that's my burden to bear.
