Default 951 at Nurburgring

Don't know how to embed this, but it's a 951 howling around the Nurburgring.

Very true. I'm not a great driver, but I certainly don't yank on the wheel like that on track! It sure makes it look fast, though.

On a related note, I recently put a camera mount on my harness bar, and I despaired to note how slow some recent laps I did at my local track looked on playback!

Worse than in-car footage, if you ever saw yourself (or your peers) on track from a distance, it's laughable how slow you look! I guess watching Formula 1 on television spoils you.

Wow...that car looked like it had zero traction, or he was driving on the edge the whole time.

How many times can you push the car so hard that even 250hp is too uncontrolable? I think he kicked the rear-end out a number of times too many, and he nearly planted it into a wall once. Other than that, he did what I want to do with my car!

That first vid was awesome!
that dude knows his away around that track.
Some of those drifts and slides were top of 3rd gear.

Car was probably on pretty much stock suspension.

I got $20 says he left a some skid marks in his trousers after that
4th gear tank slapper. Good catch for sure.

He is a bit rough on the wheel (understatement), but he is absolutely flying. He obviously knows how to drive and drive well.
