I know some of you 944 guys might be interested in some of these parts.

I will sell you a 951 motor, LSD trans, and turbo hubs/spindles/brakes for $3000 bucks. That's a deal you won't find anywhere else.

here is a link to my original part thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...our-951-a.html

I find it amazing that you can sell a perfectly good car for parts more than you can as a whole. Seems like such a waste.

yup, if u put a turbo on a car making 10 to 1 compression the motor isn't going to last, so you'd also need the piston and likely the rods and crank so the compression can drop, also need to make sure the main caps on the bottom end can take the pressure. on top of that there's wiring, exhaust and intake work that has to be done...thus the reason it's cheaper to buy a turbo than make it.

if you wanna be creative and **** money away, supercharge an N/A, though that still requires motor work.

What? You can avoid all of that by buying this guy's used turbo engine.

Crankcase, and the crank are the same, rods and pistons are different, at least that is what I can gather looking at the PET...

Heads are different, but you can use an NA head on a turbo car, just need the turbo valves, and a good way to watch for cracking as the turbo heads have ceramic liners on the exhaust ports serve to protect the head and keep the heat in the exhaust stream... there are other things..but you get the idea, were one industrious and had way too much time on their hands , Summit sells piston/rod sets that would work for about $600... that is how I would go about it were I trying to turbo an N/A.. but that is just me...

Wait that gives me an idea... I just happen to have an N/A sitting outside asking for a turbo... Hmmm wonder If I could turbo my N/A....
