Post Supra TT

I was on the freeway today and this nice looking supra TT pulls up next to me and wants to race, i figured this would be worth the embarrasement to see that car just fly down the freeway so i droped into 4th and took off. so did he, he pulled on me for a second but i came right back and stayed even with him until i decided to get off the freeway. What the hell i thought those cars were extremly fast, or he was just toying with me.

if it was a stock TT then no big deal. i drove one of those one time and it was like a 928 - big, heavy, powerful, but no road connection like the 944 has. my old 951 would have beat it easily.

however, any supra TT that is modified in the least can easily make over 300hp and up to 600hp. i would never toy with one of those. he was probably playin with you.

Those cars are also extremely porky. They weigh 500 pounds more than a 944. There are also N/A versions and in one model year, they were all automatics. Maybe his car wasn't really a TT.

Yes please use one of those, mainly because seeing that salt on a p-car hurts me.

A stock 4th gen Supra TT accelerates from 60 to 100 mph in the 7.0-7.5 seconds range wich is exactly as fast as a 993 Carrera. I don't know about your 944S, but I would say that you raced against a 220 hp NA one. You can't really make the difference.

In stock form, they trap 106-107 mph vs 99-100 mph for the 951. Don't underestimate these beasts on rolling starts. If it can beat a 951 on a rolling start, it's obvious that it will eat a 944S for lunch. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
