Yeah, but the problem with Supra TT's are the owners: you thought 911 guys were snobby? The Supra BOYZ put these men to shame...

-Zoltan.

PS: Yeah, it's a generalization, but I've never met another type of Supra owner, and the Supra forums contain one ego-laden post after another.

A STOCK twin turbo supra produces 320hp. With BPU you get up to 450hp on stock twin turbos.
They sky is the limit with supras. They are the best car to mad in my opinion if you are looking for serious power.

So i'd say you raced a non turbo or he was just playing with you.

It's crazy, been looking for one for my father and it's HARD to find one that hasn't been modified.

Everyone has less than $1000 worth of bolt-ons and is over 450 hp.

So, most likely this guy has twice the power and was just toying.

You must have been on it a long time to get to 130 - thats approaching your top end...
of course, you have to factor in the 5% or so variance between indicated and actual MPH....

"There is no way you beat a new gen TT. No way at all..."

Actually there is a way to compensate for the SupraTT's advantage in cubic inches and boost. That's with cubic dollars! For every $1000 they spend, we just have to spend 1000 cubic-dollars to match!

I raced one of these 600HP new gen TT. He dropped the clutch at the rev limiter while cruising at highway speeds. The BOV dumping sounded like a jet engine at mach 5. Surprisingly, after the smoke settled, he was not that much quicker. He did have a passenger and I did turn the boost to the limits.
