Default so i drove my 944 for the 1st time

And...it was scary ha.

I worked all through the night on it...all the way up until i had to goto work actually. Last night i changed my thermostat because the lower hose stayed cold and the reservoir would be HOT so i figured it was stuck closed.

now i have no over heating. But its leaking from that hose...so i have to pull it back off and see whats going on there.

I was on my lunch break and went to a german specialist guy close to base to see if he would put it up on the lift so i could see exactly what it was, or pay him XX.XX to to fix it quick...

so he puts his hand down there and hes like "water pump - $1400 if u include all the oil seals" HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA no. I went home, jacked it up...and its clearly coming out of that hose. So im thinking that the thermostat should have some sort of hole in it...and not completely sealed like the one i got from autozone.

i also installed my schroth 4-points...im sure they are in wrong...but they will do for now.

My clutch is slipping...so ill have to see if its just out of adjustment or something...i doubt it with my luck

Still need new tires...its fun driving a car with flat spots

all in all....it was a fun experience =D except i wish my dang water temp gauge worked...it did before i tucked wires...so maybe i jarred a ground loose or something...hmm...or maybe the sensor took a crapper

congrats! I can't wait to get my N/A back up and running!

A trick that some people do, is drill a couple small holes around the outer ring of the thermostat, to allow some water to flow through when it's closed or in case it gets stuck.
