I just added one, and I have to be honest. For street driving, it's not much of a difference (none at all really). I have not had it out on track yet.

I live in a fairly densely populated area, so street driving is generally within a couple car lengths behind some Camry/Accord/minivan/SUV, so I don't get to "flex" the 944s suspension much.

It would have to be pretty aggressive street driving. The main benefit of these is when the car is under full side loads, where there is enough load to flex the chassis. I have this bar for the race track and it is pretty well built for the money. But I guess it just depends on how hard you push it and whether you like to go for drives with good tight curves.

I don't have the KLA bar so I can't speak for it but the OddJob cup replica bar has worked wonders for me..

Nope

944 chassis are pretty good, it'll take some really offensive driving to flex them on the street...

i noted the stiffness of the 944 chassis recently...when jacking up the front drivers side corner, the drivers side rear wheel started to lift too...

I think that was the funniest thing I've ever seen when we were jacking up the front of the car for the first time

With stock upper strut mounts and stock bushings in the control arms, I don't think it would be possible to notice a difference.

kla brace - nothing
M030 rear sway bar... massive improvement. Much more planted and neutral.

I just put the KLA bar in my S, and I did notice a difference, but not in the way you might expect -- there was a lot of difference at low speeds, where the steering resistance now feels a little more linear. On the highway, I'm not sure I can detect a difference which isn't attributable to confirmation bias.

I'm going to the track on Sunday, so I may have a better report after that.

Mine is a late, fairly low-mileage car with stock everything (bars, struts, mounts, etc) and 17" Pirelli PZero Rossos.

I disagree with all that say you don't notice a difference. I agree, I don't think it helps performance much, however it does make the steering feel noticeably tighter.

I'm also considering the KLA strut brace, along with a M030 rear sway. I just wish I knew what some previous owner had done with the springs/torsions. The front is really stiff, and the rear is not quite as stiff but still way more than my previous 944. Front shocks are stock and rears are koni reds. The real question is it worth the money, the sway definitely seems like it would be a much better value. I still don't know if I could pass up on making my steering as tight as possible.
