So you'll have an "R" (reconstructed) or "S" (salvaged) title after the state does the inspection? My car has an "R" title - damaged in storage, including broken hatch glass, while the original owner still had it - so it was "totalled". A little paint work and a new used hatch and it's like new, but will always have that stigma attached when/if I try to sell.

Well at this point the state has inspected it and I assume it is going to have a rebuilt or reconstructed title, which definitely sucks considering the damage was fairly minor although definitely more damage then yours! I'll get the title in the mail in a few weeks and will find out for sure the final verdict but it is unfortunate that it is now a "branded" car for life as it will kill the resale by 20% give or take.

This is definitely the nicest car I have ever actually owned. In the end I will have a very nice Porsche Turbo, without having to make payments to anyone!
