Wait a 944NA for testing? Does that mean that Guru has something up their sleeve for the NA?
I must be dreaming.

Danno, as you know from the rules, chips are one of the only things that can be changed in the engine bay of the 944-spec.com cars! So do your best work. The guys in the SoCal group are already talking about doing group purchases of the best products available. Better hurry up...........
All the best,

Travis,

We don't want to sell our car, but would love to see what you have planned for this big release. I'll offer up our NA race car for testing :-)

3.1 liter (2.5 liter, bored/stroked)
14:1 compression
custom Cam
Danno MAF kit

Can you get me an additional 60hp???? If yes, then we will be at 300 at the wheels !!! Yippeeeeee!!!

John, your car doesn't even come close to qualifying! We want a stock, stock, stock car with zero mods. Yup, still working on Skip's 2.7L chip.

I think our 2.5L 944NA chips are ready to go. Here's some dyno-results from an beta-tester in AZ:

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Helvetica">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Helvetica">Dan,
We picked up 4-5 whp with the cam and 3WHP with your
XYZ* chip. He wanted to try the WXY* with the 2.5
degrees retard just for the heck of it. BTW, removing
the balance shaft belts picked up 2.5 across the
board, although legal he does not want me to run
with-out the belts. So we gained 10 WHP which is
fantastic except we can't count the 2.5
The highest numbers from the competition are 142.5
w/fresh motor and 139.?? w/80K miles? Mine has 85K
miles and should make at least 136WHP w/balance shafts
installed. The later block probably doesn't have as
much of a loss from the BS due to the plastic covers.

Your XYZ* chip makes 5WHP over a stock chip
because I already had a 2hp gain from the FR Wilk
chip.

* exact chip versions tested to remain a mystery... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Helvetica">Tim, I can get you a significant discount on a group purchase to run our stickers. Trying to come up with some prizes for your series too... What would be of the most interest?

1. Momo steering wheel
2. race seat
3. fire-extinguisher system
4. race suit
