ok so heres the up date, today pulled the clutch pedal out of the 968 what a pita stupid power seat was stuck in munchkin size and the track was broke so i couldnt get the last screw out to remove the seat. After about an hour and a half messing with it i decided to just go through the seat, took 2mins. Good thing the seat wasnt in very good shape so i dont feel to bad about it. After messing with the pedal for about 15min i realized u can pull it out real easy if u just pull up the fuse box. hardest part about putting it in the 944 was lining up the brake pedal. also installed the 968 throttle cable

ha also on another note, the reason i started this project was my org 944 was vibrating like crazy. figured it was the torque dampener.

haha fail, and the worse part of the whole thing was getting that damn pedal aligned, i think it might stay for now but eventually ill put the other one in

almost there, got half the bolts for the rear in today just two more to go then fasten the tranny and bolt in the motor. 
so close today, had the car dropped all the way down on it. the 968 engine looks real good under the hood. hardest part is gonna be lining up the steering correctly tomorrow. have to wait on a bunch of lines i broke and some replacement parts but with any luck it will be done sat. just in time for rockville.

i really should have. but for now its my only car, gonna look into getting a DD after i get back from Vegas in October. i do plan on rebuilding the engine in a year or so.

well today sucked, started off good. got the engine bolted up. moved on to the trans had some problems getting it lined up, turns out to be the shifter support bracket for the automatic gets in the way of the shift linkage, gonna have to cut it, but thats easy compared to the damn bolt i broke off in the frame for the transmission support beam. i guess im gonna have to try to drill it out and be careful not to destroy the threads if thats even possible

haha, its in. just need to finish hooking it up, swap out the rear wheels, hang the clutch and brake pedal. again. finish cutting out the stupid bar that keeps me from shifting. and a little re-wiring
the support for the auto shifter. wish i would of cut this out before i bolted the whole thing up.
