Default Graphic set FS: Left over Pewter (sliver) vinyl striping

Hey all,

I have a full set of the vinyl stripes I put on my track toy for sale. My cost for all the vinyl was $320.

I'll sell the stripes for $120 shipped. I am an experienced installer and can help guide you on the installation. It is really quite easy.

The set includes:

NOTE: For 944 or 951 only. There is not enough film to cover 968's or others.

Material: 3M 220 High performance film
Vinyl for the nose, the hood, the roof and the small area just under the spoiler (with a little left over).
Qty 1 - 20" Porsche Script
Qty 2 - Rocker panel Sized Silver Porsche Script (approx 48")

PM if you are interested.

I don't need it. Mine is already installed. Finished it a couple days ago.

Why have it go to waste?

Example of the set on a Guards Red 951:

The set will look good on just about every color with the exception of Beige, Yellow and Silver.

Can you post the source for those illustrations? Not sure what you used, but it is very well done. Would like to use those to experiment with my own potential graphics config (But I like your rally stripes). Thanks

Chad,

Looks great, well done! Just curious how practical it would be to take the stripes/graphics on and off, say off for the street and on for DE's?

Not very. And...that's a very expensive way to have stripes. Expect $200+ for the vinyl ready for application.

Those look like they were done in illustrator? I'd really appreciate the .ai file for those if at all possible?

Would be a great resource for the more graphical among the community

Sorry my friend you are going to get the brunt of this...

To all- I do this for a living. To take care of myself and my family. I have created these files for use with my own company to make an honest living. Explain to me how giving my work away is at all beneficial to my situation. I have taken the time to create my own templates from scratch (at scale). Others can do the same.

It's the equivalent of asking a welder to fabricate a roll bar for free because it looks nice.

Sorry my friend no can do.

Well, I wouldn't have asked if I imagined that you'd done this for a client - sorry if that is the case. I saw that you'd produced some very nice work, and asked if you might share with the community.

In this particular instance you'll forgive me for asking the question if you would share the fruits of your labour with the community on the list - a far less mercenary setting than the world of big business.

You'll find many instances of people here travelling great distances to help one another - and sharing the wisdom hard-earned by many hours of bitter experience. Not that you must by extension do the same, but perhaps you will have need of their help or expertise in future.

On your final point I must disagree - perhaps it's like sharing the design for the rollcage, but the rollcage itself has mass, and cannot be instantly replicated and shared with others at no cost to you.

For an example of such a design, shared at will, look here... https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...4-project.html - although in this instance there's probably a bit of work and skill required to turn that into a set of blueprints.

If you do not wish to share your work, so be it - I can always, as you say work up a vector template from a scale model (or a 3D model such as those that have been shared here before) - I wish you well.

Perhaps in under other circumstance you will not be forced to ask how donating work (that you've already done!) for your community will benefit you, and see that what goes round comes round.

Be happy!
