Getting my PCA instructors license Friday.
taking the day off and going up to Putnam park in Indiana to ride for a day with an instructor in a Lotus Elise and learn how to be an instructor. Then hopefully if all goes well i'll be an official instructor and i can instruct w/ PCA in all types of events like the FEST next year and DE events etc.... wish me luck!
oh- and then NEXT weekend im going back to Putnam with some friends to actually enjoy my track time in MY car. Cant wait!

Congrats, Dan. My official instructor "check out" came from Parker Berry in a RS6, and while it made me an instructor it also served the purpose of making me not want to be an instructor. Not in a real bad way, for we had a lot of fun, but I really appreciate all of the volunteer rag dolls now. I can NOT ride for 30 with someone, and then get out and get in my car. My eggs get scrambled waaay too easy now.
Anyway, I know you've got a lot to offer! Congrats!

Congrats Dan. My only real regret is that I am not able to be there to be your mentor for your check out ride. I gave the mustang guy I got the first time I was mentoring in that program a work out. It was fun, watch out for the tricks....haha

whew man that was alot of riding around for sure! First mentor got me w/ the arm on the window sill trick- didnt notice it right away. Its difficult to tell someone exactly what to do when they "know nothing" - im sure i'll get the hang of it with time. Fingers crossed they send me an exceptance letter.
