We are commenting on the "We told you so"-ness of this post. The OP first hit the forums talking smak last year and listened to no one. Then has built a reputation of doing the same in others threads and derailling other people's for-sale posts ("I'll give you tree-fitty") ("your car isn't worth jack"). So.................here we are.

No offense to the OP of this thread. He's entertaining in a rabid puppy sort of way. It takes all sorts to make the world go 'round.
Absolutely 100% true.

Big talk...... zero results.
I can already picture the hack job the LS conversion will turn into.
My wager would be an abortion that is abandoned before completed. Best of luck just the same.

Hey man I know how you feel. I have had people tell me over and over that a good 16v turbo motor can't be built for less than 10g, etc etc.

Don't go out of your way and break the bank for a silly BB pride thing. Do what you feel is the right thing for the car and don't listen to what people with no skin in the game tell you. They are just acting like kids.

Thats Odd, I know ALot of people with 951's pushing 300-400hp For a while, No problems at all. I have a built 944 engine, granted its not big hp But I beat it to death and it runs fine. Maybe you should check your engine building skills?? These motors when done right are GREAT

It's true these motors can be reliable if done properly (and with a bit of good luck) Not as reliable as a chubby motor though.

Even stock cars spin rod bearings and bend rods etc sometimes.

The first engine i bought i rebuilt with my friend who builds race motors every weekend. The wall of the engine cracked somehow and ruined the block. The one i have currently might not actually be seized(i think that the shop that i had replace the starter dosent want to deal with the car anymore and is throwing it back on me) so when i get it im going too check it fix it and sell the motor. I understand that they can be reliable and they CAN be good but im not about too waist more money on this engine. Love the car tho.
