SFR project car in Popular Science Magazine(March)
This is sort of off-topic because the car appearing in the magazine is a Toyota Supra. The Article is named Tuning Japanese. However it is a cool article to read considering the blistering performance of this car. The car is owned by my partner Keith Ta. Popular Science did make a big boo boo and wrote that he is the owner of Speed Force Racing when in fact he is a partner. Anyways the car makes about 1200 horsepower at the crank. It was dynoed at 1024 horsepower at the wheels.Since this time we have made alot of changes to the car. A new equal length header, new turbo back exhaust(dual 3"), new intercooler, new aluminum piping, new catch can, new intake manifold, we also changed the rear wing and we changed alot of little miscellaneous stuff. The car is very insane. You can see it in the March edition of Popular Science magazine.

yea, anything putting 1000+ hp to the wheels is usually pretty insane i saw a supra in a magazine one time with about equal HP but they said it accelerated like a school bus because the gearing was set to some ridiculously low ratio. but it reached about 250 mph eventually.

Congratulations on your article Tim. It's time for people to know the full capability of the Porsche 944 Turbo and the bang for a buck it presents to the consumers of the compact/import car market. Perhaps this will bring you tons of business as well as new Porsche owners. Excellent work Tim, keep it up!
