Let me guess? GT1? I beat every track record twice over, I'll pull out my best times later and let you know.

Pete:

Any mod's to the cars in question? Kind of hard to compare drivers unless the cars are setup the same.

We could start a little competition by selecting a bone-stock car or a standard set of mod's and seeing what kind of lap times we could turn in.

I'll check my top times tonight, although I'm sure the cars were modified.

Sorry, I can't get the thing to work online. I've tried and it crashes when I try to set up an account.
As far as modded cars, they were all modded except the GT1. The 996TT has every mod available.
If we use a stock car can we tweak the suspension a little?
How about modding tires, brakes, shocks, springs, & your own personal suspension & tire pressure settings?

keep it all stock
no modding
then post times

and make your account at www.earacing.com
then just put the user/pass in and you should get on (as long as you have version 3.5)
good luck

I also have never got the game to work online, created an account at earacing but game bombs when I try to go online. I keep forgetting to check this, but is it possible just to share IP addresses and race outside of earacing.com?

What car/track should we start with by the way?

OK, let's pick a car and a track and post our times. No mods on your honor as a Porsche owner. Let's keep it realistic and leave the damage on.
I'll vote for the '00 996 Turbo and Cote de Azur.
I probably won't have a chance to do this until later this week. (2 year old hogs my computer time!)

OK, 996 TT Cote D'Azur. Save your replays if possible and we can exchange later.

Ryan: love to try online if we can figure out how to make it work.

By the way, do you guys use steering wheel, keyboard, joystick? I have a wheel and pedals myself.

One more thing, I think the best way to do this would be to choose quick race and 1 competitor. That way we shouldn't have to worry about traffic messing things up.

My daughter was sick this weekend so I rented a Dora DVD for the first time. After 48 hours straight of "forest, river, tallest mountain" I was about to lose it. 3:00 this morning she wants to watch Dora!! I dread going home tonight.

Ok, can we get any more off topic now?

If any body wants to learn the correct racing lines and fastest routes on any of the tracks, email me and we'll setup an IP race, and I'll show you the ropes.

I've been playing this game since before it came out.

EA also has a website that records the fastest time for every track, backwards/forwards/mirrored, with every different car. (when you race online)
