Agreed. Some of the "initiatives" on here just scare the holy hell outta me.

I don't think that's a fair representation. Sure, that's a nice piece of screen door fabrication; but the rusty, semi-galvanized look is not the best way to do it.

Says the guy with the turbo nose. You don't NEED a fix!

(PS: All initiatives are voluntary.)

yeah my point wasn't to go about and say "look at ths beauty" - it just to show you of how it would look without the metal bumper - and then you can figure out how you want to "fill the void"

either to some fiberglass work and cover the hole - ala Broadfoot Racing bumper cover

or do some more nice creative work with grill

it can definetly be made to look much better then that

I can see one way it might be made to work; first black out everything behind the grille...then use a darker shade of the body color for the grillework itself. I deleted the 924 turbo nosepiece, just felt it made it look too busy; you could even delete foglamps and relocate them.
However, I think you'd want to keep the grille recessed to the point where it does not extend beyond the edges of the side of the body opening, or at least conform to the body in such a manner as to somewhat resemble C from the side when viewed from a 90 degree angle...the wraparound look posted earlier definitely did not work well.

What you need to do is to make the two ends into open scoops (like a GT3) with a basic black mesh, and "fill" the middle with more visible bars.

PS: I put my bumper back on last night. This dream will soon pass.

And aerodynamic drag increases alot.
You can cover the hole but no grille please.

^^I would have to agree, especially considering the drag factor---it was fun to Photoshop, though!

Hey, I never said that the stock N/A front end wasn't UGLY! But those pics without the bumper remind me of that saying my grandma used to say: "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face".

Remember that retarded comment I made about 944's being catfishes? There you go. Your car will now look more like a catfish than ever before.
