Default side view mirror options?

I want to get rid of mine and replace with something manual and light.

do you think these would work?



they would be painted black...i dont need any CF appearance on my car.

depends on what the rest of your car looks like. if its basically/or is stock w/o body mods, Id say no it wont

Miata mirrors are small. I'd be interested in something like the mirrors on the Elcamino my dad and I have. Both of those options are round and relatively small (and are door mounted), unlike the bilboards that come stock on the 944's! Face it. We should just start putting advertisment banners on those things, and make some money as long as we use them.

I put BMW M3 mirrors on, light as a feather and quite okay for the looks I thought.

How did you mount those mirrors there? The car's got glass in the front corner...

Looks like his car has lexan racing windows....not roll down glass...but I was thinking the same thing!

The 968 ones are fibreglass or plastic. I bet without the motors, they would be relatively light.

pretty sure I read somewhere that they are virtually useless as mirrors...even though they look great !

yeah my windows don't move so we stuck them in the corner but i cannot imagine there not a solution to make it work on a glass moving window.... let me think....
