I can remember some time ago when somebody from States said eurospec front side repeters are rice.

I suppose you may consider something in my car little bit rice, but thats OK for me !

I have it. I like it. The problem is mine says turbo so it's somewhat redundant in that from the back my car says turbo twice.

You get the idea. I too prefer OEM but since we don't have those cool long license plates this will have to suffice.

Heads always turn at stoplights to check the front end for a crest or something. Kind of amusing, if you ask me.

Well I'm with Olli. I ripped it off of my car first thing...it had cracked and warped. I used some plastic 'buttons' that I painted body color to fill the bumper holes...and I had a couple badges ("GB" and "AA") my Brit Mom had bought me back in the 80's that covered the holes left in the body. I guess they would n't be bad if they were of better quality plastics. I haven't seen one that held up well.

I WAS having fun with the OT discussions until lately- these seem to be a forum to flame someone for thier OPINION. So I will no longer reply or add to OT discussions. Its a shame that some people have to put up with verbal insults for an OPINION. I'll just be posting questions and responding with any expertise I may have.

Good luck all-

If you could answer the question, give your opinion and simply leave well enough alone this would be a much more fun place. I have learned a lot from Rennlist- and this seems to be another lesson. Within the last 3 months- feelings have been hurt- people have had to change sig's, I have been flamed- all for an opinion for god's sake. I hope I meet the better contributors oof Rennlist on the road, and gain some knowledge instead of being subjected to someone else's attitude.

This should be followed by everyone (including myself). If there are any opinions written here, take them for what they are, just "opinions". This spineless PC stuff sucks, it takes all the flavor out of discussion and sharing of ideas. This isn't network television, people! This is more-or-less a public place.

Even if there are those who like these tacky plastic parts on their cars- it's okay! they are the ones driving them, not me. If it makes a person feel good, great; just don't tell ricers that they can't put fake Type R stickers on their cars, that's not cool!

Getting personal? Uh, Charles is quoted some one had to take this guy out.. what's that all about?

To Charles: "Les avis sont commes les trous de culs, tout le monde en a". I wrote it in French because it is required by law in your wonderful country.

Yeah, a little more amerikan edjamukation will work, not! Can this thread go away, now that we've beat it to death?

Idea: If an opinion gets you that mad and irritated, go cry -don't post back to rennlist. Or stay out of the thread. I think they are butt ugly, but I'm sure plenty of people think things on my car are ugly. Awesome! I don't care.

Fact: It was never a factory option. (even if it was installed by some dealer)
My Opinion: "too much plastic on the rear meow!"

I like mine:

I believe it makes it look more like the tail of a 911. If the bumper wasn't meant to accomodate a license plate, there wouldn't be an opening b/t the bumper pads

Sidemarkers, bumperettes and the like are all adaptations of the 944 design to U.S. specifications, as was probably this gadget between the tail lights.
