I was so excited about getting these wheels that it did not hit me until today when I bolted them up to the car that they are early offset and I have a late offset car.

Is there anything I can do to make them fit other then sell them and buy a late offset set?

There's not any way to get them onto your late offset car, but I'm sure you could sell them quickly

Front suspensions:
Early Offset Cars (83-85, 85.5-86 944 and 924S cars) can Update/backdate to steel/Aluminum front control arms by replacing the arms and rear caster blocks. No changes to spindle, hubs, brakes or steering rack are required. The bushings are different for the Steel vs Aluminum. The cross member bolt is the same.
Late Offset Cars (87-88 944) can backdate to early offset parts and early offset cars can update to late offset parts. In these cases the spindles, hubs and steering tie-rods must be changed along with the control arms can caster blocks. Also the wheels need to be changed to ensure the right offset.
Rear Suspensions
Early Offset Cars can update/backdate by swapping complete semi-trailing arm assemblies These assemblies include rear hubs and brakes. Aluminum arm cars can bolt on steel arms, but steel arms cars need to change the spring plate to use aluminum arms. Any swap also require a change to the 1/2 shafts as these are longer on Aluminum arm cars. Shocks are different as well, but I believe can be easily modified to function correctly.
Late offset cars may backdate to aluminum and early offset aluminum may update now changes to spring plate, 1/2 shafts, or shocks. Steel arm cars encounter the same issues as moving to aluminum early offset early suspension. A wheel change is required however for any early/late offset swaps.

I love these wheels and this is what I want on the car. I need late offset.

These early offset codes on the wheels are:
7J 16 ET23 2 front wheels
8J 16 ET11 2 back wheels

I did a search and found a guy who put early phonedials on his late (88) 944. He said he made the camber negative to do this. Can I get away with that?

I don't want to have to sell these and look for late ones but is anyone really interested in them I paid $1,700 on Ebay plus there would be the shipping cost. They are just like new. The seller said he took them off of his car soon after buying the car new and had them in his garage all these years.

They are very light weight.

Rebuild them. All youd have to do would be to get new lips. But, if you didnt get barrels youd have some skinny wheels.

I think I have late offsets on an early car. Mine came from a friend who had a 89 951 I have an 84 NA . The PO painted the centers on the BBSs black to try and match the car, it two me a half a day with some laquer thinner and rags to take the Krylon off. Cars handles miles better then the Flats that it orig had and they are very light. Maybe we should trade?

Ritzblitz - I knew someone on Rennlist would have a good option. I already found a company that sells the different profile lips for the BBS wheels. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can always just go with spacers...or buy my late offset BBS RS's :-)

I'm interested in company you found that has parts, a couple of mine have some curb rash, other than that they're in great shape.
