I think so. The hershey autox was on the same day as the NNJR autox last year...I went to the NNJR last year...We'll see what happens this year.

Another great place to visit during your stay is the Carlisle Car Show which is going on the same week.

Anyone interested in setting up a p-car run down. I figure Maine/NH/Vt and Mass could meet. Head to CT where the RI cars could go too. From there to NYC or Long Island, and then onwards to Hershey.

Dudes we could have like a gazillion P-cars in formation headed down. Turn a head or two.

Of course the cops would probably pull us over on GP.

Hey Sid -

Chances are I'll be driving up from the cape, as I'm picking up a 911 lister in his 996 Cab. But, keep me posted, we can caravan too if we know the info.

Though in a 996, I'll be slower than the 944's and 951's... LOL!

Thanks!

I was thinking a good meetinplace for the New Englanders would be Worchester anyways. Headed to Hershy that/s still on your way (Do not take 95 the whole way down, I made that mistake a few times)

That'd be cool, my brother is probably going this time, depends on exam schedule.
Dude...the econo lodge may not have been all that nice (though it was clean...)...but it sure was cheap!

Jenn (and john), I think just setting up a Rennlist meeting point at the actual swap meet would be enough...anything else I'd say is above and beyond my expectations. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Geneva">I'm down. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> We should definetely get a hotel. Either Rennlist only, or 944s or whatever.

I think I will be staying at the Spinners Inn with my 951. My friend will be there with his also. It would be great to have some more 944/951 people there to hang out with the night before/after.

Please don't have a Rennlist hotel. I am already booked in the Hilton Garden Inn with the 968 crowd, I'd hate to have to book a room at a second place so that I can hang with the Rennlisters, too! lol

Anyone want to caravan from the west? Lisa and I are planning on leaving from KC thursday morning, and plan to roll into Hershey around 12 noon Friday.

Regards,

Driving plans are to head out of KC on Thursday sometime, drive REALLY fast and get there by noon Friday, with a stopover, probably in the Columbus area, and hopefully get some beers with some of the Ohio area 'listers that aren't going. Where are you going to be?

Regards, ...Scott

Yeah Scott the 968.net crowd Nothing against you personally but I was a little offended that the guys on 968.net won't let anyone else join in their little hotel deal. I post on there about half as frequently as I do here. I have helped a lot of guys over there and but frankly...as of late I have begun to think that the 968 guys are getting a little snobby. Their reserved rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn are ONLY for 968 owners (except John D. & Jenn...unless you guys own a 968). Don't get me wrong, even if JohnD & Jenn don't own a 968 they should still be included in anybody's special rate just for providing this BBS.

I'm sorry I am ranting a little but I felt more than a little bit snubbed. Plus, I've been reading all the rhetorical posts regarding Boxster v. 944 future values and Porsche posers etc... I am just very tired of the "my car is better than your car" crap.

Lately several of the posts on 968.net have had a very "the 968 is the best car in the world" kind of tone. I don't like it when it is present on this board either. Sorry for my rant. I'm just pissed because I either have to get up at 4:00 to make it to Hershey or spend $140 to stay over night.

Sorry again...just venting. <img border="0" alt="[soapbox]" title="" src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" />
