Default Broadfoot Vs GT Racing Bumpers

The front valence on my 1983 NA is pretty beat. I want to replace it with a turbo bumper but its a bit expensive. So Im looked at Broadfoot Racing and GT Racing's 'turbo looking' front bumpers but cant figure out which one functions and looks better. The rear left endcap has a big dent in it so Im replacing that too, but again, does a fiberwerks bumper or stock look better? The rear will eventually have a turbo rear valence on it too. Im thinking of the 924 Carrera GT Scoop also to give it a little bit more race car look and boost my intake performance. Ill have a sketch of my final design plan posted soon if you guys would like to see it.

Thanks to all that reply.

the 944 scoop doesnt do anything on the 944 car, it only worked on the 924 carrera because underneath the scoop was a top mount intercooler.

IMO the fiberwerks bumper is hideous, the turbo style will look ok but not as good as a full turbo front end

Yeah, i just thought the scoop might help a bit, i think it looks good on a 944 personally. But to get a nice OEM turbo bumper with all the lights is close to 900-1000 dollars, I like the Broadfoot racing bumper because of the built in splitter. I was also thinking of the 924 GT head panel with the slots in it.

Broadfoot has a bumper fs on ebay, at least they did on friday. You'd still need turbo fenders though. Fiberworks bumper is not what I'd consider attractive.

I agree...at first I thought, yea not bad Fiberwerks, but the lower part really looks like a Honda aftermarket add-on.

I would love to have a wide body kit on my car, but Im trying to keep my original wheels and in budget. Doesnt GT racing have a shorte rear bumper though? Isnt it in the photos on here?

They said on the site that it fits a normal 944, just a little but of a modification to the fenders, but i would cut a bit into the bumper, just incase i want to sell it all original.

could always use a spacer. theres nice deals on ebay for wheels all the time, thats where im getting my wheels for about $700. and i think the 55 offset will bring me close to the 2" needed

could just buy a spare fender/bumper whatever and swap that on and keep original parts intact.

I never received a reply when I enquired about the widebody kit re the Red car. I wonder what they're like compared to GT Racing?
