early wheel offsets fill the fenders?

I'm chatting with Vividracing
they offer wheels - my interest is in J-line wheels
they are decently priced, they come as blanks - you tell them what you want - and they do it for you
early cars have offset of 23f and 11r, do these fill the fenders nicely? or would you guys say its better with a spacer? they make these wheels to whatever spec you give them
so I'm looking at either 5 or 10 L2 wheel, in black with polished lip, or in red with polished lip, in 15x7 front and 15x8 rear
these appear to be fairly strong and well made; can anyone add anything with regards to J-line wheel quality, or the offset information?
this is not super urgent, I probably won't get this done for a little while (have my hands full with other things), but its pretty interesting

I thought about getting these too. Definitely roll with a real low offset if your going with a 15. Once I get my wheels put together and on the car I can tell you how low you can actually go. I'm going to be modifying my fenders, but not too much, just some flaring. As of now, I'll be running a 16x8 et -50ish rear. We'll see, I'll keep you updated.
Surely someone else has a doable setup though.

yup, its just another option, they are priced very nicely, and I haven't heard much negative of them yet; and its really nice that they are completely custom - 1 of a kind set
this was my thought as an alternative to the wheels I have now, but, we will see; I asked him on the weight (atleast approximatly), so I'll post up once I get that info

Jline does custom wheels; so offset, bolt patterns, and color are extremely flexible. Each order is made to your exact specification. You would basically have a set of one-off wheels.
For the Raised Lip, then can do from +70 to -30.
For the Step Lip, they can do from +25 to -30.

If you want to go radical, you can fit something like 9" wheels in the front and 10.5" wheels in the rears of a 944 but finding tires would be the hard part unless you go up to 17's.
For an early 944, just check the fitment of original 15x7 and 15x8 Fuchs wheels and depending upon what size tires you are planning on running, you can either have them make your wheel a little wider or you can play with the offset. The lack of good tires in the 15" sizes of 225/50/15 for the front and 245/45/15 rear might deter you from going with anything wider than 7's and 8's. Even for the 7's and 8's, it is hard to find a 205/55/15 and 225/50/15 combo.

and I don't want to go wider then 7 front and 8 rear - I was going to say why not have them the same offset as the Fuch wheels, but I don't know how well those fill the fender
its still up in the air because I have Cup wheels now that I really like (with the spacer they work allright) and with a spacer/adaptor they fill the fenders really nicely

My car is really low with the full 944 Spec race suspension and I can run the early offset wheels on my late 944 with 225/50/15 all around with no rubbing issues and the tires still fit inside the wheel wells. This can only be achieved with a decent amount of negative camber so I have something like -3.5 fronts and -2.5 rears.
I am running 15x7 early Phone Dial wheels with 23.3mm offset on my 1988 944.

let me see if I can find a good sideshot of mine
this is far, I'm looking for a better shot:

I like how this is, I'd like to keep it somewhat at the same level
also this is back from when I first got the car, the paint looks better now
