I didnt know people wanted those things. I see a 944 about every 3 months at the local junk yards. Ill pull it next time I see it.

Yup,two minute job. Thanks! Would have been one minute but I didn't realize that the nut you where referring to is not the one that holds the wiper arm on. There is a rounded nut(that doesn't look like a nut) under that.

23 pounds.....+ shipping.....wtf ? +1 on the nylon plugs from Lowes Clean looking, easy, INEXPENSIVE

I was kinda wondering why no one had made a follow up comment on my Lowes plug.

Do some of you guys think the hardware store fix is too easy, want a totally factory exact plug or are you afraid of a hardware store part in a Porsche?

I just can't see spending 16+ times the price for something that is heavier and uglier.

i mentioned lowes im always looking to get something done right cheaper...even if its harder or more time consuming
