They had a very reasonable price for their level service. They are shipping my former <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" /> 944 SC from CT to OK, door-to-door, on an enclosed trailer for $1060. They came on Saturday and they were able to put my car, which had been lowered and had a Fiberwerks fiberglass nose, on the trailer without a hitch. Plus, they do not tie the suspension down. Rather, they put straps around the wheels so the suspension can move freely.

You can also "track" the car via the internet in real time with their satelite system.
Best Regards,

Jeremy

It seems that all the firms are quite pricy, and you get a diviation, but none are cheap.

Hell for 1K I'll go get it and drive it to VA for ya.

When I get home I'll look up the other companies. The cheapest quote that I received was for $756 w/full insurance up to $100,000, in an unenclosed 3 car trailer. I discussed the "drive cross-country" option w/the new owner and I suggested he not do that. By the time he was done w/the price for the gas and plane fare, and after considering the stress of a 1300 mile straight through driving toll on the car, he decided I was right. Not to mention the amount of rock chips you get on that long of a trip. I think shipping these cars, in the long run, is very cost-effective.
