Default Atlanta Folks - Andretti Karting Meet?

Hi All,

I'm sure you've all heard of Andretti Karting in Roswell/Alpharetta area.

Anyone up for some karting one night during the week?

If you're not familiar with the place, it's usually $19.99 per 8minute heat. There is a coupon available for a buy one get one free race, which is a great deal. 2 races for $21.50 including tax.

If you've never been, it's a whole lot of fun. The karts actually go fast enough to slide (around 25-30mph)

My handle on the Andretti Karting stats site is "msa". I've been going a lot more lately because of the coupon, and I figured some of you would like to go.

Let me know.

Mark

Hi TB,

Pro-cup Karting holds league racing @ Andretti , but yes it's a whole lot of fun. Trust me, if you're not usually karting, these karts will give you somewhat of a workout and the speeds are enough for the indoor track.

My buddy and I try to go once every two weeks until May 31st because of the coupon.

We usually go on Tuesdays or Thursday night. We can also do it on a weekend if you guys want, but it can get crowded in there. During the week, we can get some clean races in where folks aren't holding you up.

Mark,

Sounds like a sweet idea. I'll check this thread to see what date you decide on.

I went to the kart track in Atlanta and waited in line for an hour, got the suit on then it came time for me to get in the kart when the last guy out threw a rod in his kart on his last lap. The resulting oil slick closed the place for the rest of the evening. I was so pissed. I still want to go.
