Default FS: NLA 944 Door Threshhold Covers

(I tried putting this in the for sale section but every time I tried I would get logged out.. Mods can move if they wish)

I have one set of the polished door threshhold covers for sale: I'll let the pictures explain exactly what they are...

The one on the right in the pictures below has a very slight bend in two places. I'm sure it could be straightened but I never noticed it while they were in the car. (or it could have happened pulling them out of the car?)

As you can see they were installed with double sided tape (more than 8 years ago; before I bought the car).

I'm looking for $375 OBO + actual shipping from 59715.
Thanks!

Do these just slip over the stock plastic ones?

It's too bad someone doesn't make these for the aftermarket (even without the logo) at a reasonable price. I'll bet they would be popular. I'm not ragging on your price- it is a rare item after all...

CPR should start making them...

My plastic pieces are all broken and these would be awesome, but I'd be doubling the value of my car by buying them.

Weekend bump! Don't forget these are OBO!

knfeparty: If they don't cost as much as your car but double the value... that's a great deal!

Well, you can't be too surprised you're not seeing much action. They may be rare, but at the end of the day, they are still two pieces of bent sheet metal. And you asked for almost four hundred dollars.

Perhaps that number is scaring off offers of what people are actually willing to pay. You might try dropping the price a little and seeing what happens.

Good analogy These are very rare no matter how simply they are made. Try listing them on ebay and don't sell them in a hurry -might get an overseas buyer.... Be sure and mention they are OEM and not an aftermarket part.

I'm in no real rush to sell and I've seen what they sell for. :-)

True. And if he's not in any hurry to sell, he can wait for someone who's willing to give him "rarity prices". But the fact that he said "or best offer" led me to believe that he might want to get rid of them for what he could get.

The fact that these are simply made, but very rare, suggests that someone could clean up by making an aftermarket replica.
