Default offsets

Im sure this has been discussed before. Can you put an early offset on a late offset car?

i believe they will stick out.

late wheels will fit on early cars but will sit inside the fender about an inch (assuming they matched the fender on the original car), so the opposite should be true for a early wheel on a late car.

I think you will run into an issue with brake caliper clearance. Part of the reason that they changed the offet was to accommodate the ABS.

You will need to go the other way....late on an early, not early on a late.

would the calipers be different if i do not have ABS???
