The cooling system on my 944 ****ted out on me today. After some deliberation and searching, I have found an answer. Scrap it and buy another. I found one on RL for $5k in my area. I'm just gonna buy it and keep the other for parts and such.
If anyone wants to buy it, tho .... I'd let it go for $1k.

Overheated, yes. Destroyed, no. The engine still runs no problem, but there is so much other **** to fix on it (seats, dash, engine gaskets, seals, headliner, nose panel) that it would equate to wayyyyy more than buying a 'new' one. I'll just take off the M030 **** and put it on the new one.

ouch, i feel you on the frustrated cooling system, mine over heats randomly still, after replacing just about everything. even went to a colder thermostat and still it heats up, and still drips some coolant.
