Default Help on pricing, please

What might this car be worth in today's market? Also, where should I take it for a PPI in Southern Ohio?

For some strange reason I really like that, probably because it's comical but probably suprisingly capable of climbing things...

duuude, that's what you're _going_ to have, if you don't take our sensible advice on tyre sizes in the other thread!

Clearly the fact that the fuel filler door is missing is a sure indication that the owner is not fastidious about maintianing his car. And if he lets something as easy to replace (and all the salvage yards have them, probably in that rare red as well) as a fuel filler door go unchecked, then i bet other things are ignored as well.

Because of that i would bet the owner doesnt pay much attention to curbs and the like, and that could indicate alignment issues. moreover, if it is a late offset car, you have the control arm/ball joint issues. I think he may have fabricated control arms that are more durable than the ones a few board members are in the process of designing, but none the less, they may not hold up under extreme conditions. see the discussion ad nauseum on control arms in this forum for the details.

so in a nutshell, i say save your money and try to find a more pristine example with the fuel filler cap in place, and maybe even a set of lighter weight rims.

Reminds me of the jacked up Ford Pinto with a 550hp engine that a relative of mine is putting together. Crazy rednecks

i honestly wonder if that still has the oem powerplant and drivetrain. is it just the body that's lifted off the "deck" of the drivetrain? are there super long shocks at the stock-ish mounting location?

From what I could tell as I was sitting there in wonder, it looked like it is sitting on a pretty heavy duty truck frame. My guess is it is a small block chevy or something under the hood.
