Default what are these plugs?

I'm trying find out what these random plugs are that sit near the firewall behind the intake manifold. The one with 2 studs in it is tied to the firewall down by the cycling valve. the yellow one i have no idea. the three stud one looks like it could travel by the oil fill tube toward the o2 sensor, which by the way has been cut totally free. I will post a separate topic on that shortly.

I think the black round on could be the plug for the o2 senor. Not quite sure about the other one.

Optional flux capacitor... I see you don't have one... :P

One is a test plug.

I believe the yellow plug is for the cycling valve. Do you still run the CV?

yes i still run CV. ugh. this thing is a mess. the PO lost more stuff than i care to think of and im suprised the engine still runs.

btw, boost is perfect on the car. it will overboost up to 19,20 psi, then settle back down to 16 and run like a scalded dog. i didnt see any loose connections on the CV when i performed head gasket change.

The yellowish one is for the cycling valve and the lower left black one is for the o2 sensor. Where does the other go? Doesn't show up too well in the pic.

the top round with three male studs falls off behind the engine just to the driver's side. from what i can tell, it stays inside the firewall, but i have no idea where i goes down there. ive seen a wire move on the oil cooler when i tug really hard on this plug. it could be just rubbing on it, or it could be the same line.

correction to earlier post: i am NOT running with a CV. i dont understand this now. the banjo bolt runs straight to the WG, which is single port. how does the computer control boost pressure without a CV or any apparent manual or electronic boost controller added on?

It doesn't, if there is no other method of control, the level of boost will be determined by the rating of the wastegate spring. Are you running stock chips?

That only has two pins not three.

Those plugs ARE the cycling valve plug and O2 sensor. My guess is the PO ran new wiring for one or both....

running authothority stage II chips with k27 turbo and MAF. Im pretty sure the WG is aftermarket single port. its got a bright red head on it. so i guess the WG is just popping off around 16psi, then?

the o2 sensor was completely cut from the system. i spliced in an oem last night and now AFR readings are pretty consistent and at 14.7 cruising. before the install they would run the gammut from 11-16 and really like sitting on 12. idle was always around 14.7 though. This should definately help gas mileage.

Maybe you have the lindsey club gate? Keep in mind under boost you want the AFR to be 11 or 12. 14.7 under boost is dangerous.
