Just wanted to let youguys know that I wasn't able to sufficiently bleed the cooling ystem last night to my liking, so i will be finishing it up tonight (hopefully!) and then heading up tomorrow at some point. Please save me a good tent spot!
And if anyone has some good tips to get all the darn air out of the cooling system please let me know!!!!

did you jack up the ps as high as possible while bleeding? Fill the system up as full as possible, jack up the ps high as you can get it and then let it get up to temp and bleed until the coolant is at the proper level in the tank.

Well the cooling system is going bezerk right now. First i thought that it was a bad gauge since the high fan would come on and off without the needle moving off of the top white mark, and no more air was comming out of the system...
But now i'm having a hard time even building enough pressure in the system to force air/steam out of the system!? (seems to "bleed" better with the engine off...wtf!?)
Whatever! I guess that she will just have to make her debut at Immke or Porsches 2 Oxford instead of the 'fest. If we were at Mid-ohio i would probably just drive it (still never going past the top white mark), but since it is over 3 hrs drive for me, i will be rockin' the orange pickup again.
See you bright and early in the morning! (p.s. y'all better save me a place to setup camp! haha)

Ah, just stopped for the night in Milesburg PA... What a great day of driving. I let my buddy spend a few hundred miles behind the wheel and he had a ball. Passing power FTMFW

I had a great time, guys! It was great to catch up old friends and make new ones, too! I'm saving to do a couple more DEs this season so I can be a solid candidate for the advanced run group next year -- though I understand I might need something more than UHP rubber in all four corners if I'm to be very competitive out there :-D.
I will have pictures up when I get some free time. For those of you that read my plug for the Fest on porschepurist.com, I am still putting together a followup article together that may be a two-parter. If you have some great photos of the Fest from the track or anywhere else, email them to me at andrew.granieri@gmail.com and I'll credit you for the photo. I'll post a link when it publishes!
