7am on Friday starts the DE event. Lunch is around noon then the DE continues. Bonfire Friday night. Saturday morning 10am-ish starts the car show, then lunch at the track followed by the Gimmick Rally. After the rally we will be meeting back at the track for awards / door prizes. Saturday night we will probably have another bon fire then everyone packs up and heads for home on Sunday morning.
The schedule is some what loose but it should follow the time frame above.
Just make sure you sign up online in advance and you should get an update with the full schedule about a week before the event.

Hmmm....should we see what an '86 N/A with 300,000 mi. on it, that the engine has never been opened up on, with original clutch, will do on the dyno?

Just a reminder that the last day to sign up for the DE is on May 27th. The DE is filling up fast so there may not be any room left if you wait until the last day. If you will be joining us on the track please sign up ASAP.
Also, for anyone joining us for the weekend and not driving on the track you need to sign up in advance online. Doing so will insure we have enough food and beverages for everyone coming as well as get you an event shirt, goody bag, door prize drawing ticket, participation in the rally and all the other 944Fest related activities.
Everything can be found at 944Fest.com .
Again, if you are coming please sign up ASAP online so we can have an accurate head count to plan by.

though there is an infamous poker tournament that starts in the early evening, too.
Nice write-up on the event.

I was wondering, if the dyno fee was cheaper, would we have a better chance of getting enough people to do it? Like if it was only $40, I'm sure I would do it just for the hell of it. How many other people would? Or, is the per person fee set by the dyno company?

The dyno guys get 1500 for their 8 hr presence, and running a car takes near 30 minutes per, due to tie downs, multiple pulls etc. SO, during the 8 hrs you can do 16 cars IF there are no probs. IF each of those 16 guys pays $40, you've got $640. That does not even cover HALF the cost of the machine. While it certainly is fun to watch, that is a lot of $$$ to flush.

Sad to say I will not be able to get to 944 fest this year I was hoping to attend but I cannot get out of work on that Saturday. Is there any way I could buy a shirt and have it shipped to me ?

You might want to bring all your parts along. There are some good wrenches and body-men that show each year. You might be able to get some assistance fitting it back together.
