How does the bottom dipsick seal get changed ? From what I can see mine is leaking, and I cannot figure out how its removed to change out the seal.

i discovered i didnt even have a seal there, so i found a generic donut gasket that was about the right size, jammed it on there and i havent had a leak in over a month.
you unbolt the stick from the manifold and then just pull up on the dipstick tube..

There are a couple of configurations where the tube plugs into the oil pan. Earlier versions have a built in metal shoulder and take a simple o-ring only. The later style just has a ridge on the pipe, and you need to slide on a plastic/nylon shoulder and then o-ring. Lindsey had/has good pictures on their site. As said above, to remove the tube, just remove the M6 (10mm AFT) bolt attaching it to the intake manifold, and pull up. When reinstalling with a new o-ring. put some downward pressure on the tube as to tighten the bolt -- that will help the o-ring seal. I now use two o-rings, one where Porsche intended and one up on the shoulder. That and downward pressure keeps it leak free.

I tried taking mine out to put in a new seal and I couldn't get it to budge. Afraid to pull on it too much as I don't want to bend it or something. Any ideas? TIA
