Default LeMons South - One Week Away - Who is going to be there?

A few months back my team started to search for a LeMons car we would run at the spring race in SC (Carolina Motorsports Park), and while I tried to land the perfect 924 / 44 it just wasn't meant to be. Instead we are going to be running a 1986 BMW 325e, sure it was a basket case when we got her, but I think she is "race" worthy shape.

Just wanted to see there were going to be any of the guys from this board joining in the fun, and if so I think a few beers might be in order. Hopefully someone is going to field something in the p-car family, last year there were a swarm of Bimmers, but no porsches to be found.....

To find me, you'll just need to call the B-Team:

Have fun. I donated a set of used rotors to a 944 that will be running.

I just did the Texas version. Had a blast. That paint job is far too pretty to survive judging intact. The 3 series cars were pretty competitive. Have fun and good luck.

The paint might look good in the picture, but it was done with a roller and this is what our rust monster looked like when we got it home for the first time....

House paint and roller application is in the spirit of thing. We showed up with decent graphics and ended up on the wrong end of spray paint cans and a sledge hammer. All in good fun, of course.

If they take a sledge to the car I think our own Mr. B will have something to say about it....... He will pitty the fool that ever raised a hand to our van....

Really I just want to get a couple good pictures with the whole crew in costume with car in the background, after that what ever happens to the car is fine by me.

We painted ours with interior paint rollers and spray cans. Fun, fun...

Excellent. The Civics which lasted were also pretty competitive on speed. Of course, success in this race does not have that much to do with speed.

Those of you running in the LeMons event, what tires are you running?
Thanks
