Default Engine for 87 in Florida

Well this has not been a good week for me this week. Monday the timing belt broke causing all valves to bend and now I have a two cylinders with scoured walls. So the long of the short of it does anyone in have an engine they would like to sell in Florida.

6 out of 8 bad valves

Cylindar 3 scoured

oooo, sorry about that! I have the engine i just pulled out of my 87 way up here, but it'd need to be rebuilt and belts/hoses/water pump, so i don't know if you'd want it (it's high miles too...)

Dude, sorry for your luck...you could try Ians in Pompano Beach (944online) it is a ways from you, but I know he parts cars, and might be able to assist... Damn... Makes me glad I just installed new TB and WP on both my cars... now just gotta watch and make sure I re-tension them on time... Looks like standard re-sleve and head rebuild from them comes in at almost 2K...

Good luck, maybe time for LS-1 swap?

I am just about to pull my engine for a LS swap. It has new front engine seals, A/c delete, new water pump and new belts, you can check my FS thread for my car to see pics. If you wanted the engine, I would include everything from the DME to the AFM for $500. Car runs and drives great.
