Default Funny !

So I had to bring my car for a DE safety Tech inspection tonight.

I stopped at the Dunkin Donuts across the highway first, to grab a cup of coffee and when I walked in (only customer in the place) the two indian guys behind the counter were standing at the window, pointing at my car and arguing.

One of them came over and said "Before I take your order....is that a Ferrari or a Porsche?"

I said "Porsche...I can't afford a Ferrari"

He turned to his co-worker and said "see...I told you it was a Porsche !"

Ever since I've had the 944 I've got 1-2 people per summer ask if it's a Ferrari. It's gotta be because of the flip-up headlights and long nose.

lol, I don't think a 944 looks anything like a ferrari but anyways....

I parked my car in a parking lot lot once and this women and her like 5 year old kids were walking by and the kid says "look mommy a ferrari"

I thought it was funny/cute cus it was some little kid. but I guess any sports car looks like a ferrari to a little kid lol.

some people also have no clue at all about cars and any sports car is a ferrari or porsche. or maybe it's the dancing horse.

actually maybe the 944 does look a bit Italian...... When one of my friends saw my car he was like why did you get an italian sportscar.

it's just missing the v12.

I was sober driver for a few friends last Friday...having places to be on Saturdays is no fun.

One girl who sat in the back said my BMW was "much sweeter" than my 944. Most likely because she had to sit in the back of both cars, and, well...even people who are 5'1 and average size don't like 944 backseats.

Another one said, "But he had a red Ferrari!" She then informed me that my 328 is an '06. Probably not at her best.

lol you should see some people that come into my work. I work at an auto parts place and I get people coming in that don't know what kind of car they drive.

Me: "what kind of car do you have?"

customer: " it's blue"

or

"I drive a honda or something"

and then I go out and it's a Mercedes.

What surprises me is when I drive by a group of 8-12 year old boys and I hear them yelling "Porsche!"

How the hell do they know what a 944 is? My car is one of the last of the 944 line and is over 18 years old!

But for the most part people have no idea what it is - I've had quite a few people ask if it's a Ferrari.

my daughter at age five could tell a porsche by the crest. then when she saw a ferrari she called it a porsche. i had to explain the difference between the prancing horses.

now that she can read, it should be no problem telling the brands apart.

well, you COULD put Ferrari badges on a 944, and on the fenders, and I'm sure some people would believe it
