Default 944 S2 Track Build: A different direction. **NEW PHOTOS ADDED**

Hey folks...

Been awhile. Much has been happening since I last posted. Since then, the car went to J3 Motorsports in Buford, GA to receive the roll cage, torque tube, clutch and suspension bushings. Since then...there has been a slight change in plans.

Go to post #17 for the new photos

This arrived at J3's doorstep today.

Yep....a 1995 968 engine.

Sooo...my little adventure just took a weird little "Frankencar" like turn. The corruption of Lemming is spreading.

So as of today, the S2's motor is coming out and the 968 motor goes in. Much more to come....stay tuned.

Photos:

Bushings going in and Tbars coming out...

That is freaking sweet. I want a 968 soooo badly. Maybe next year... haha. What are you doing with the S2 engine?

Your car is beautifully clean, btw.

Hey Eddie...

Likely after I get all the exhaust and intake sorted. But not until then.

Dude! Second pic, 78 is in the background. Don't tell me it's sold! Any idea why it's out of the showroom?

They are going to run it at the Walter Mitty historics.

Well...more like bolted. You can't weld a fiberglass sunroof. We simply bolted the stock sunroof in place. I'll post photos once everything is cleaned up and painted.
