No tuning?!?!

I understand that you are only running low boost, but a 968 engine isn't easy on your wallet if it grenades.
Have you had any longevity tests?

Are you guys working on a higher boost setup that does require a chip (and intercooler maybe)?

There is a little tuning... as in setting the FMU and then forgetting it. No chip tuning or setting beyond that. Been driving it for last 2 months with no worries. I have dyno charts too on the website.

No plans for a higher boost model at this time. Of course, a fella can always start with our kit and go nuts from here on his own...

Here is the big Rennlist thread on it:

I still havent seen a kit for a 16 valve 944S. Any chance it could be tweaked to work?

true, but theirs requires removing the A/C. Also, I'm not overly thrilled with where they locate the cone filter (I believe its located under the brake booster on their kit, but please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not implying I have a better idea offhand of how to make the S/C work with a better air intake location (eg factory snorkel or header panel), but I don't think that its an ideal location for air pickup.

I know that our kit will bolt up to a 944 engine.

I also know that the 944 radiator is closer to the engine than the 968, and it may also be taller.
So, if you can work out the radiator (install a 968 rad in your 944?) and the cold air intake, then this would work. I do not have a 944 here to try it on.

there isnt enough room in front of the 944 engine for your setup.

I think this kit is fantastic. Lots of pros to using your kit versus the SFR kit, a big one being the A/C. Would you happen to have any videos of the car running with the kit installed?

you dont have a 944 engine on hand but the 968 engine and structures are so similar it should be enough to make a model work.

see if you can get the alternator to mount where the power steering pump normally is. i can say from daily experience id rather have AC and no PS than the other way around.
